My lil' healbot

Healing is a tough job.

But then again, so's tanking, and dps. We do what we do, because we enjoy doing it. And if you like doing leet dps, or thunderclapping the c*ap out of mobs, more power to you. (No offense to pally/dk/druid tanks. Thunderclap was just the first thing that came to mind. And anyways, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be reading a tanky blog?)

I arrived late to the whole WOW thing. My friend, who was a lock, got me to join. After reading all the class details, I announced that i wanted to roll a druid.

"YOU DON'T WANT A DRUID," he says. "They're a hybrid class and don't really excel at anything."

Oh.... errrrmmm, then maybe I'll roll a lock, like you?

"GREAT IDEA"

And so Incumbent was born. And he was pew pew. And ba-boom. And every other descriptive sound in the book that signifies enemies being blown up.

But somewhere along the way, I got tired of doing all this damage. And I knew it was time to roll a healer when tried to Health Funnel a dying party member.

So I read up muchly on the topic of healers. And I finally decided on a.... druid.

grumble... mumble... stupid friend...

  1. I started as a Warlock. I failed at pew pewing, and me and my boyfriend made new charas... Two Druids.

    Not missed lock since!

  2. Haha,

I guess the most successful druids start off as fail-locks. :) (I can hope, can't I?)

Strangely enough though, I started playing with my lock a bit recently, and while he's still nerfed to the ground (63 rogues and DKs beat me at DPS in instances), I have fun questing with him. But now that I am Moonkin-ing all over Northrend, I might not lock for a bit.

  3. PS: My lock is 68. So it's sad when I run Slave Pens and get laughed at by level 63s for my miserable DPS.

PPS: And I've tried all three specs. Nothing worked well. And I have 700SP.

PPPS: Back to affliction for questing, though.

  4. My lock finished at 47. I deleted her when my Druid hit 70; I think it was too pew pew... Every game I play, I have to be a healer. Its creepy!
